Effective, compassionate treatment for warts, molluscum, and condyloma—addressing your concerns discreetly and restoring clear, healthy skin.

These three are types of skin bumps are caused by viral infections. The human papillomavirus (HPV) causes both warts and condyloma, and the Molluscum Pox virus causes molluscum.
These skin bumps can be removed using chemical treatments, cryosurgery, or electrocautery. Especially large bumps may require surgical removal.
Warts
Warts are skin bumps that grow on the surface of the body. Warts appear more frequently in people who have a weak immune system and can be spread through skin contact with an infected surface or person. High-risk factors for HPV infection include having multiple sexual partners, younger age and cigarette smoking.
Quick Facts- Warts are a common type of skin bump caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV).
- There are over 100 different types of HPV, with around 40 infecting the genital tract.
- HPV-3 and 7 cause warts in the genital area.
- Infection can occur through sexual contact or touching an infected surface such as towels or locker room floors.

We'll examine your skin to identify the specific viral infection and determine the best treatment approach based on the size, location, and number of lesions.

We offer multiple removal options including cryotherapy (freezing), chemical treatments, and electrocautery. Large or stubborn lesions can be surgically removed to ensure complete clearance and prevent spreading.
How are these conditions different from each other?
Warts are rough, raised skin growths that commonly appear on hands and feet. Molluscum contagiosum appears as small, painless white or flesh-colored bumps, often with a dimple in the center, and is particularly common in children. Condyloma (genital warts) are caused by specific HPV strains and appear in the genital area.
Are these conditions contagious?
Yes, all three are contagious and spread through skin-to-skin contact or contact with contaminated surfaces. Molluscum and warts can spread through scratching, while condyloma spreads primarily through sexual contact.
Are these conditions dangerous?
Generally, these viral skin conditions are not dangerous, though they can be uncomfortable, unsightly, or embarrassing. However, some HPV strains that cause condyloma are associated with increased cancer risk, so proper diagnosis and treatment are important.
How can I prevent spreading these infections?
Avoid touching or scratching the lesions, don't share towels or personal items, keep lesions covered when possible, wash hands frequently, avoid sexual contact if you have condyloma, and seek treatment promptly to reduce transmission risk.
Should family members be concerned?
Casual household contact rarely spreads these infections, but it's wise to avoid sharing towels, washcloths, or clothing. Children with molluscum should avoid sharing bath water. For condyloma, only intimate contact poses transmission risk.
